Your Future Self Will Thank You.

Chances are that if you have been practicing at least a couple of years (or if you are in one of the hot practice areas like M&A and have even a day of experience) you have been hearing from recruiters.  One article on LinkedIn estimated that about 40% of the workforce has heard from a recruiter in 2021 and many of those people have heard from recruiters multiple times.  

If you are only passively entertaining those calls, or even if you aren’t looking to change positions, you would be doing your future-self a favor by having a resume at the ready.  It’s a

 smart career development strategy to have an updated document ready to send out (just in case…).  You never know if someone will call you with your absolute dream opportunity and you will want to be ready!
